Can I modify load-bearing elements to comply with my building code?
Yes, with a SketchUp model from us, you can easily and quickly customize it to fit your local regulations. Adjust everything from the foundation to the truss dimensions and create building documentation for your municipality in no time.
Can I add my own landscape and customize everything as I wish?
Yep, add your own landscape or import your geodata to insert your precise site plan into the SketchUp project. Add elements from the 3D Warehouse and present your local authorities with a professional site plan, complete with all the details.
What if I want a slate facade instead of wood?
No problem, start by changing your installation layer if needed. Then, import your desired slate and begin placing it on the installation layer – the great thing about this method is that you’ll get all the mounting details down to the smallest detail.
Can I change all measurements to American units?
Yes, you can easily change all measurements and dimensions by adjusting the settings in your SketchUp. Our models are created in millimeters, but you can easily switch to inches or other units that suit you better.
Can I add my own roof material?
Add anything you want, whether it’s a new type of roof, new windows, interior design, outlets, or anything else. Make it your own and create your own 3D model using ours as a template.
Is it possible to change the foundation type?
By default, all our house projects come with a poured foundation, but if you wish to switch to something like a screw foundation, raised foundation, or any other type, you can easily do so. Simply delete the existing foundation and add your own – just remember to back up the original file.
Is there anything I cannot customize?
No, you can customize everything you want.
Can I have Diysketch customize my model for me?
