These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at Diysketch.com (“Site”), operated by Diysketch (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, using the Site, or purchasing products from us, you agree to follow these Terms, which create a legally binding agreement between you and Diysketch. If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the Site and refrain from purchasing any products. We encourage you to review these Terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
Our Terms in short: Feel free to use our house plans to help plan your construction, but please note, we’re not responsible for anything—that’s all on you. We do offer a guide to help you along the way, but it’s for your use only, and you can not share it with any third parties, online, offline or anywhere. That’s the gist of it! But if you’re unsure or need more details, we recommend reading the full Terms below.
General Overview
We create pre-made 3D models for small house projects, designed to facilitate architectural planning and construction. These models are intended as general-purpose tools to assist with the design process. However, Diysketch makes no representations or warranties regarding the suitability of the models for any specific construction or architectural project, and users are responsible for reviewing and adapting the models to their specific needs.
We provide detailed 3D models, which include floor plans, elevations, and 3D visual representations. These models are intended to serve as a foundation for construction and architectural projects. The user is responsible for evaluating the models and ensuring their suitability for the intended purpose.
Integration and Adaptation
The models provided are designed for seamless integration into architectural projects, allowing for quick adaptation to specific needs. However, the responsibility for modifying and adjusting the models rests solely with the user or their designated professionals. Diysketch does not offer customization services and will not be held liable for any adjustments or alterations made to the models.
Focus on Construction Elements
The models provided by us focus on the essential elements of construction, including layout, structure, and general architectural details. However, they do not include technical installations such as plumbing, electrical, or sewage systems in the models. These systems must be designed and implemented by other licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Your Own Responsibilities
When overseeing the construction of your project, it’s important to recognize the key responsibilities entrusted to you. These responsibilities are essential to achieving a safe, compliant, and successful building process. While Diysketch provides detailed, ready-to-use 3D house models, you play an integral role in ensuring that the construction is executed accurately and that the finished project meets structural and legal standards. The following outlines the core duties that you must undertake to ensure a smooth and effective construction process.
You understand and agree that:
Adherence to Building Regulations
It is your responsibility to ensure that all aspects of the construction adhere to the latest national, state, and local building codes, construction standards, and other applicable regulations. Compliance with these regulations is crucial, as failure to do so could result in fines, delays, or the need to revise parts of the project. You must also remain informed about any regulatory updates and apply them throughout the construction process to maintain both safety and legal compliance.
Securing Permits and Organizing Inspections
You are tasked with obtaining all necessary permits and scheduling required inspections at various stages of the project. These inspections are vital for verifying that the construction process is legally authorized and the structure meets safety standards. You must ensure that inspections occur on time and that any issues raised by inspectors are promptly addressed. Failing to secure permits or pass inspections could lead to serious legal consequences, such as penalties or project delays.
Verification of Construction Plans
Before construction begins, you must verify that the 3D model provided by Diysketch aligns with local conditions, including climate, soil type, and regional building codes. This review is necessary to ensure the plans are suitable for your specific site. If adjustments are required, such as modifications for seismic safety or soil conditions, you must make the necessary changes to ensure the plans are correctly implemented and the structure is sound.
Construction Practices and Methods
It is your duty to follow established construction practices and techniques to ensure the building is structurally sound and durable. You must use the correct methods at each stage of construction, from laying the foundation to installing the roof, to ensure the final product can withstand environmental stresses. Careful attention to each step is necessary to prevent structural weaknesses or the need for costly repairs down the line.
Worksite Safety and Compliance
You are responsible for implementing safety procedures at the construction site. This includes providing personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring proper safety signage is in place, and adhering to safety guidelines set by organizations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). A safe worksite is crucial not only to prevent injuries but also to avoid delays or legal issues that could arise from unsafe conditions.
Quality of Materials and Components
You must ensure that all materials and equipment used are of high quality, new, and meet the required specifications. Only materials from reputable suppliers should be chosen to avoid issues related to substandard products. You must also ensure that materials are stored properly to prevent damage before installation. If any materials are found to be unsuitable, you must replace them with the correct alternatives that meet the project’s standards.
Following Manufacturer’s Guidelines
You are responsible for ensuring that all components and materials are used and installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This is vital for preserving warranties and ensuring the longevity of the construction. By following these guidelines, you ensure the functionality and durability of the materials, safeguarding the integrity of the entire building.
This tailored guide ensures that while Diysketch provides the 3D models and plans, you play a central role in executing the project with precision, adherence to regulations, and quality construction practices.

To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law, Diysketch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, our models, products, services, or website.
In no event shall Diysketch, its affiliates, or any designers be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of, delay in using, or inability to use the website, including any house models or designs. Diysketch’s liability for any direct damages shall be limited to the amount you have paid for the models or services that gave rise to such liability. If no payment has been made, the liability will be limited to $75.
Some jurisdictions/countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so the limitations set forth in this section may not apply in your case. In the event that any provision of this limitation of liability or exclusion of warranty is found to be unenforceable or inapplicable for any reason, Diysketch’s maximum liability for any type of damages will be limited to 75$.
